The Vessel Chapter 1

A small flyer on a quest keeps getting distracted by memories of festivals and hot dragons. Inside the temple, it meets a powerful beast whose presence seems tied to the place's magic. The creature urgently tells the flyer they must act before an old spell fades in the grand hall. When the flyer resists, the dragon overwhelms them completely, leaving the small one changed by the encounter.
